Bucs to play single game Sunday at 3:05 p.m..; doubleheader Monday at noon

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 16, 2014) – Mother Nature played its course again overnight and the ETSU baseball team was forced to make another schedule change with its weekend series against Longwood.

The Bucs and Lancers will now play a single game on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. at Thomas Stadium, while the teams return to the diamond for a doubleheader Monday beginning at noon.

The Valentine’s Day promotion that was scheduled for opening day will also be held at today’s single game. Fans are encouraged to Tweet why they “Love” ETSU baseball to either @ETSUAthletics or @ETSU_Baseball using the hashtag (#BuckyLove). For those who don’t have Twitter, the ETSU marketing staff will have paper hearts for fans to fill out saying why they "Love" ETSU baseball at the game.

The prizes include: a one-night stay at The Carnegie Hotel, lunch for two at Wellington’s, and a one-hour massage at Austin Springs Spa. The winners will be determined by those who come up with the most creative reason(s) why they love ETSU baseball and will be announced during the game this afternoon.

To purchase season tickets, call the ETSU ticket office at (423) 439-3878 or visit ETSUBucs.com/tickets.
