JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 24, 2013) – Each week during the volleyball season members of the ETSU volleyball team will be featured in a segment called “Getting to Know You.”

The eighth player to be featured is junior middle blocker Meredith Hardy (Kingsport, Tenn.). During the preseason, the players were given the questionnaire, which can be found below, and each of them submitted their answers. Below are the responses by Hardy:

What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?

  • I want to learn to surf.

If you could be on any reality TV show what would it be and why?

  • Amazing Race, because you get to go cool places.

What is one thing you can’t live without and why?

  • Music! I constantly have music playing.

If you were stranded on an island what are two things you would bring with you?

  • My iPod and a boat.

Is there any meaning behind your number you wear?

  • When I played soccer Mia Hamm also wore #9 and she was my idol.

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

  • Betty White: because you would be loved by everyone.

If you weren’t playing volleyball, what sport would you play?

  • I’d like to try Lacrosse.

Do you have a gameday tradition? 

  • I always watch an old episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

What are your plans after graduation? 

  • I am interested in playing professionally. If not, I want to stay involved with athletes either through coaching, training, or rehabilitation.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

  • I’ve never cut my hair.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the off-season?

  • Eat and play more volleyball!
