Chase and Ludvigsen earn Academic All-Atlantic Sun honors
Wednesday, November 07, 2012 MACON, Ga. (Nov. 7, 2012) – ETSU men’s cross country’s Adam Chase (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Andres Ludvigsen (Odense, Denmark) earned Academic All-Atlantic Sun honors on Wednesday, announced by the league office. Chase was one of three honorees to be unanimous selections as he carries a perfect 4.0 GPA as a Mathematics major. He earned second-team all-conference honors at the end of October with a personal-best time of 25:26.7. Ludvigsen holds a 3.71 GPA as a Pre-Business major in his junior year, and earned a 15th-place finish in last month’s conference meet. USC Upstate’s Gilbert Kemboi was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year as he holds a 3.518 GPA as a Sociology major and is a three-time A-Sun individual champion.
