Men’s cross country move to fourth in the USTFCCCA South Region

NEW ORLEANS (Oct. 29, 2012) – The ETSU men’s cross country team moved up to fourth in the South Region of the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings, released on Monday.

The Bucs are the highest ranked Atlantic Sun school, and are followed by Kennesaw State and Florida Gulf Coast who are ranked 11th and 14th, respectively.  Florida State ranks number one in the South Region, followed by Georgia in the two spot and Florida at third.  The Bucs are ranked higher than four other Southeastern Conference schools, including Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State and Mississippi.

The Bucs now gear up for the NCAA South Regional meet, which will be contested on Friday, Nov. 9 in Tallahassee, Fla.
