MACON, Ga. (Oct. 17, 2012) – ETSU men’s cross country Anders Ludvigsen (Odense, Denmark) ran a personal-best at the Blue Ridge Open last weekend to win his first career Atlantic Sun Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.

The junior from Odense, Denmark, completed the 8k course in 25:01.14, which was good for 12^th out of 146 runners. Ludvigsen’s performance led the Bucs to a third-place finish. Ludvigsen’s honor marks the first weekly honor for ETSU since Kenneth Rotich garnered a record-setting seventh weekly honor on Oct. 21, 2009.

Ludvigsen and the Buccaneers will use this weekend off to prepare for the A-Sun Championships on Oct. 27 in Fort Myers, Fla.
