“This was a great tournament for Chloe and I was very proud of her,” said ETSU head coach Stefanie Shelton. “Gabriella had a solid round today and it was good to see Sian (Evans) back on the course. We need her out there.”
After having to withdraw from play during Monday afternoon’s second round do to an illness, sophomore Sian Evans (Gillingham, England) did in fact return to play in Tuesday’s third round. She posted a 3-over 75.
While Garner finished tied for 10th at 222 (76-72-74), Wahl posted a tie for 23rd at 227 (75-80-72). Other individual performances included a tie for 32nd by senior Mayte Vizcarrondo (Cadiz, Spain). N.C. State’s Brittany Marchand and Augusta James tied for the top spot at 6-under 210, with Marchand taking home the individual title in a playoff.
