ETSU Homecoming Celebration Set for Saturday

Events to take place during men’s soccer and men’s basketball games
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (October 27, 2011) – ETSU will be continuing its 2011 Homecoming on Saturday, October 29, with multiple festivities set to take place throughout the day, including during the men’s soccer game at 1 p.m. and the men’s basketball game at 4 p.m.
The gala begins at 11 a.m. with a charity carnival outside of Summers-Taylor Stadium. Fans will get a chance to show their ETSU pride by wearing their blue and gold to the carnival and coming to the luncheon at the south end of the stadium. The luncheon lasts until 2 p.m.
The Homecoming awards begin to be handed out at halftime of the men’s soccer game, as the 2011 Homecoming King and Queen will be announced on the field. Other awards, including the overall homecoming winners, will be announced during halftime of the men’s basketball game at ETSU’s MSHA Athletic Center.
Fans looking to participate in all the events on Saturday can purchase a $15 ticket which includes lunch and general admission to both the men’s soccer and men’s basketball games.
