MACON, Ga. (May 24, 2011) - With the start of the Atlantic Sun conference tournament only a day away, junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) and sophomore Derek Bushey (Richmond, Va.) were named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference teams announced the conference office on Tuesday.

The Bucs had three selections on the First and Second Teams for the second straight season as Reeder was selected to the First Team as a reliever and the Second Team as a third baseman, while Bushey was named a Second Team starting pitcher.

The pair is the first Buccaneer pitching duo to be selected All-Conference since Jeremy Hall and Caleb Moore in 2005. Reeder also joins Moore as one of only two ETSU players to selected both as a pitcher and position player in the same season.

Reeder was a unanimous selection as the First Team relief pitcher coming into the tournament as the nation's top closer. The NCBWA Stopper of the Year candidate set the Atlantic Sun single season saves record with his NCAA leading 18 saves.

A two-way player, Reeder is currently tied for second in the conference in home runs (15), fourth in RBI (60) and total bases (138), sixth in runs (59) and tied for ninth in hits (77). Reeder was also the only player in the conference to earn A-Sun Weekly honors as both a position player and pitcher.

Bushey earned his first All-Conference selection after bring ranked fifth in the A-Sun in ERA (3.39) holding opponents to a .250 average while posting a 6-4 record. The right-hander leads the conference with three complete games and is tied for first in shutouts. Bushey has won four of his last five starts and has gone at least seven innings in six of the last eight games he has started.

The Bucs are slated to face Jacksonville tomorrow at 4 p.m. EDT in their first game of the Atlantic Sun baseball tournament at Dugan Field on the campus of Lipscomb in Nashville, Tenn.
