ETSU women's soccer adds another Welsh national to 2011 signing class

Thursday, April 28, 2011

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 28, 2011) - ETSU women's soccer head coach Adam Sayers announced the signing of Welsh U19 national team member Ellis Parsons (Cardiff, Wales) to the 2011 signing class on Thursday.

"I'm very excited about Ellis joining us," Sayers said. "She has extensive international and club experience, and can play in several positions very well. She is defensively excellent, possesses a detailed understanding of the game, and is very comfortable in possession. Her versatility will provide us with lots of options. This is a great signing for us, and Ellis has the ability to make an immediate, significant impact here."

Parsons joins fellow teammate Jasmin Dutton (Kinmel Bay, North Wales) as the second Welsh national team member to sign with the Bucs as the pair recently represented the Wales U19 team during two qualification stages for the UEFA Women's U19 Championship.
