JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 14, 2011)
- The ETSU baseball team will look to add to its six-game win streak as the Bucs head to Nashville, Tenn. to face Belmont in a three-game conference series starting Friday at 5 p.m. ET at Shelby Park.

The Bucs and Bruins are slated to play at 2 p.m. ET on both Saturday and Sunday to close out the series.

Senior Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) set the Atlantic Sun career home run record with his three-run homer in the third inning on Wednesday as ETSU (22-9, 11-5 A-Sun) topped Furman 12-9 in Greenville, S.C.

Senior Derek Trent (Kingsport, Tenn.) and junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) lead the way offensively for the Bucs. Trent is hitting a team-best .365, while Reeder leads the team in both home runs (12) and RBI (39).

On the mound, Friday starter John Long (Anderson, S.C.) has been exceptional for ETSU posting a 2.87 ERA with two wins in his last couple starts. Reeder has also been phenomenal coming in to close out games for the Buccaneers as he leads the nation with 13 saves only allowing one run in 16 appearances.

The Bruins (17-17, 6-9 A-Sun) lead the all-time series with ETSU 17-6 after sweeping the Bucs in the last meeting back in 2009.

Belmont also comes into the series hot as the Bruins have won four of their last six including a 17-16 slugfest with Austin Peay in the mid-week. Dylan Craig leads the Bruins in average hitting .344 on the year, while Preseason All-Conference pick Nate Woods has five home runs and 29 RBI.
