Muehl wins second straight GOTW honor
Muehl Thursday, March 10, 2011 JOHNSON CITY (March 9, 2011) - ETSU senior Nina Muehl (Vienna, Austria) has earned her second straight Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Week honor, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.
Muehl was selected after posting another impressive tournament outing, as she finished at 1-over 217 and ended the Barefoot at the Beach Invitational in second place. Her efforts help the ETSU women's golf team to a strong third place showing in that Myrtle Beach, S.C., event.
A week ago, Muehl earned her first GOTW award after setting a school record for three round score with a 4-under-par 212, and finishing tied for first at the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge in Miami, Fla.
