ETSU's Smith named to Cancun all-tournament team
Mike Smith was named to the Cancun all-tournament team. Sunday, December 26, 2010 CANCUN, Mexico (Dec. 26, 2010) - Following a three-game stretch in which he averaged 14.3 points, nine rebounds, and shot 60 percent from the floor, ETSU senior Mike Smith (Vandalia, Mo.) was named to the all-tournament team for the Cancun Governor's Cup.
Smith, who posted an impressive 20-point, 16-rebound effort in the Bucs' dominating 79-51 tournament win over Appalachian State, was joined on the all-tournament team by Colorado State's Travis Franklin, Ole Miss' Zach Graham, St. Louis' Brian Conklin, and Southern Miss' Gary Flowers.
Smith and the Bucs will be back in action on Thursday, when they return to the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center for the first time in over a month and take on Atlantic Sun Conference foe Campbell. Game time is set for 7 p.m. |
