- The top seeded ETSU men's soccer team is set to face fourth seeded Lipscomb in the Atlantic Sun semifinals Thursday at 7 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
The winner of the match will face the Jacksonville/Stetson winner in the Atlantic Sun Championship game on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Bucs (13-5-0, 7-2-0 A-Sun) are coming off of a 1-0 overtime win against Appalachian State early last week. ETSU recently had five players named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference team including First Team selections in Itode Fubara (Ogbema, Nigeria), Guilherme Reis (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.).
Lipscomb (10-8-0, 5-4-0 A-Sun) comes into the contest having won two straight against Campbell as the Bisons rolled to a 5-1 win over the Camels in the A-Sun Quarterfinals. LU is led by All-Conference selections Garret Pettis and Miguel DaSilva.
Ticket prices for the A-Sun Men's Soccer Tournament are $5 for general admission, $7 for reserved seating, and $2 for seniors (65 and older). Children 12 and under as well as students of the participating schools (with proper school identification) receive free admission. Current and former US military members with government ID will also be let in for free in honor of Veterans Day.
The ETSU men's soccer team will also host the "Bash the Bisons" pre-game tailgate for Buccaneer fans and students at 5 p.m. in the north parking lot at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
