ETSU women's soccer to close out regular season against USC Upstate

, Tenn. (Oct. 23, 2010) - The ETSU women's soccer team is set to close the regular season Sunday at 1 p.m. as the Bucs head to Spartanburg, S.C. to face USC Upstate.
 
The Bucs need a win against the Spartans to advance to the Atlantic Sun tournament as they are only two points back of Campbell for the final spot in the tournament.
 
ETSU (7-7-2, 3-5-1 A-Sun) comes into the contest having lost to Mercer 3-0 before earning a 1-1 draw against Kennesaw State last weekend. Freshman Ramey Kerns (Kings Mountain, N.C.) leads the team in goals with six on the year.
 
USC Upstate (3-12-2, 1-6-2 A-Sun) is 0-3-2 in its last five contests after dropping games to Kennesaw State and Mercer. Jessica Jackyra leads the Spartans with two goals and five points on the season.
 
The Bucs are a perfect 3-0 against USC Upstate outscoring the Spartans 11-1 in the series.
