ETSU men's soccer to face UNC Asheville in non-conference play

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 24, 2010) - The ETSU men's soccer team is set to face UNC Asheville Saturday at 7 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium in the final non-conference match before the Bucs open Atlantic Sun conference play.
The Bucs (4-2-0) have won two straight at home defeating Winthrop 2-0 and Marshall 2-1. Junior Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) has had a goal and an assist in back-to-back contest as he is tied for seventh in the A-Sun in points with six.
ETSU is 0-1-0 all-time against the Bulldogs after dropping a 1-0 decision to UNCA last year in Asheville, N.C. The Bucs are 4-2-0 all-time against teams from the Big South after the win over Winthrop this year.
UNC Asheville (2-4-0) comes into the contest having lost three straight contests to Atlantic Sun teams losing to Lipscomb 2-0, Belmont 2-1 and USC Upstate 1-0. The Bulldogs are led by Jake Hagedorn as he has three goals on the season. Hagedorn also had the game-winning goal against the Bucs in 2009.
