Men's golf tied for 11th after second day of Carpet Capital Collegiate

ROCKY FACE, Ga. (Sept. 11, 2010) - ETSU senior Rhys Enoch (Cornwall, England) fired a 1-over 73 to lead the Bucs on Saturday afternoon during the second round of the Carpet Capital Collegiate.
Enoch currently sits in a tie for 26th (2-over) after recording four birdies and an eagle during his second round at The Farm Golf Club (par-72, 7,012 yards). Enoch has recorded back-to-back rounds of 73.
The Bucs are currently tied for 11th with SEC member Ole Miss. Clemson leads the team standings at 10-under. Alabama is in second (9-under) followed by Georgia Tech in third (5-under).
Blayne Barber of Auburn leads the individual standings at 9-under overall. Barber fired a 4-under 68 today after coming in with a 5-under 67 on day one. Evan Beck of Wake Forest is second at 8-under (68-68—136) followed by Jacob Burger of Clemson at 7-under (72-65—137).
ETSU freshman Spencer Lawson (Raleigh, N.C.) followed Enoch with a 3-over 75 (73-75—148). He currently stands in a tie for 35th at his first collegiate tournament. Paul O'Kane (Castledawson, Northern Ireland) fired his second consecutive round of 76 and is tied for 48th. Devin Komline (Dorset, Vermont) came in with a 78 and is tied for 45th (73-78—151). Peter Wilson (Locust Valley, N.Y.) wrapped up the ETSU scoring with a second round 81.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final round beginning at 8 a.m. The Bucs will begin teeing off at 8 a.m. on the 10th tee and will be paired with players from Ole Miss and South Carolina.
