LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 21, 2010) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced today that the ETSU volleyball team has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for 2010. ETSU was one of just 94 Division I institutions recognized for the award.

"I am extremely proud that we have received the AVCA Team Academic Award," said ETSU volleyball coach Lindsey Devine.  "Bob Baker, the Assistant Athletic Director of Academic Services, and his staff have really supported our team in setting high expectations for every player.
