JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 1, 2009) -- The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites Buccaneer fans to help celebrate the July 4th holiday this weekend during Independence Day parades in both Jonesborough and Kingsport.

The Bucs will sponsor a float in both parades, with the Jonesborough parade scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, July 3, and the Kingsport parade set for Saturday morning. ETSU's mascot Bucky, along with fans, friends, and family members of ETSU athletic department personnel will participate in the event.

Free ETSU t-shirts and posters will be handed out during the parade.
