BRISTOL, Tenn. (March 4, 2010) - After winning its last three matches the ETSU women's tennis team opens both its home and Atlantic Sun Conference season with a 6 p.m. contest Friday against league rival Kennesaw State inside the Bubble at the Bristol Country Club in Bristol, Tenn.

The Lady Bucs (4-2) welcome the Owls to town after winning both their contests last week. ETSU dropped former Southern Conference foe Davidson 6-1 last Friday, then made quick work of Wofford on the road by the same 6-1 score, Monday.

Stupak has won two out of her last three matches, while Jaime currently leads all A-Sun competitors with a perfect 6-0 singles record.

Kennesaw State (5-4) travels to the Tri-Cities after falling to Campbell in league action at home last weekend, 4-3. KSU also lost its first A-Sun matchup of the season against USC Upstate February 19, 4-3.

Individually, for the Owls Therese Lagerkvist sits at 8-2 in singles action. The first-year freshman has won her last eight matches with the majority of her starts at the No. 5 position.
