JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 16, 2009) - The ETSU Athletic Department and the ETSU Habitat Student Committee are teaming up with Holston Habitat for Humanity to put on "Raise the Roof for Habitat" and "Walk the Lawn vs. Elon" in conjunction with the ETSU men's soccer match against Elon on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Registration to participate in the first annual pre-game walk-a-thon is $15. This walk benefits ETSU Habitat for Humanity and provides resources for volunteers to help build homes. Registration includes an event t-shirt (as supplies last) and a free voucher for Saturday's soccer game.

The walk starts Saturday at 1:15 p.m. with the starting location and sign up's located at the Wesley Foundation on ETSU's campus. Participants will walk to the new ETSU Habitat home and finish up at Summers-Taylor Stadium for the ETSU Men's Soccer game vs. Elon. There will also be special recognitions at half-time of the game.
