Bucs falter against Jacksonville, 3-0
Theo Yang Sunday, October 25, 2009 JACKSONVILLE, Fla "We started the game strongly and had some chances early on," said head coach Scott Calabrese. "We had a mental lapse in the back that JU capitalized on followed by another goal quickly and then another. The Bucs (3-8-3, 2-4-1 A-Sun) were outshot by the Dolphins (5-9-1, 3-4-0 A-Sun) in the match, 20-19. The Dophins got on the board in the 21st minute as Stefan Runeman found a wide open Tyler Williams in front of the net for a goal to put Casey Tafuri put JU up 2-0 in the 23rd minute with a one-timer off of a free kick from Davide Faga. The Dolphins put the game out of reach in the 28th minute as Nedim Hrustic knocked in the cross from Christopher Helms to put JU up 3-0. Freshman Theo Yang ( The second half saw a combined 25 shots, but ETSU was unable to find the back of the net as the Bucs were shutout in the match. Scott Rosman ( The Bucs are back in action on Friday at 3 p.m. as they host Lipscomb.
