JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 18, 2009) - ETSU volleyball signee Megan Devine (Kingsport, Tenn.) was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year announced the Gatorade Company, in conjunction with ESPN RISE earlier this week.

The award recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field.

Devine is one of four signees for the 2010 class including Krista Hughes (Williamsburg, Va.), Nicole DeVries (Orangeville, Ill.) and Summer Kremer (Mills River. N.C.).
