JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2008) - The ETSU volleyball team is set to host former conference opponent Western Carolina on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Brooks Gym.

The Bucs (8-14, 5-9 A-Sun) split their matches last weekend losing to Florida Gulf Coast 3-0 and then defeated Stetson 3-1. ETSU dropped its only match against the Catamounts last year, 3-1.

Western Carolina (5-19, 3-8 SoCon) comes into the match having won two out of its last five matches losing to Davidson, Wofford and the College of Charleston, while defeating The Citadel and Appalachian State.

Tuesday is also Faculty appreciation night as various ETSU Volleyball players were chosen to choose their "Spotlight" Professor.  The faculty members that are being recognized include Laughton Messmer, Lisa Buchanan, Iuliia Stupak, Daryl Carter, Clay Matthews, Jamie Merriman-Pacton and Styron Harris. These outstanding ETSU Professors will be honored during the break for their performance in the classroom during the match.
