JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 10, 2009) - After picking up back-to-back wins for the first time this season the ETSU men's tennis team looks extend its winning streak as the No. 55-ranked Bucs take on No. 17 Wake Forest with a 10:00 a.m., contest Thursday morning in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

ETSU (3-6, 2-0 A-Sun) comes into the contest after extending its Atlantic Sun Conference winning streak to 27 matches after sweeping both Lipscomb and Belmont last weekend. Individually, senior Enrique Olivares (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) and freshman Sander Gille (Kuringen, Belgium) continue to play well for the Bucs as is freshman newcomer Jeremy Bonnevalle (Keerbergen, Belgium), who picked up his first two collegiate wins against the Bisons and Bruins.

Wake Forest (7-4) heads to South Carolina amidst a two-match winning streak after dropping Louisville 4-3, Feb. 27 and Michigan 6-1 March 7.  The Demon Deacons have been road warriors this spring after posting a 6-1 mark away from Leighton Stadium. Individually senior Cory Parr leads the Wake Forest attack after posting a 7-2 singles record.
