ETSU hoops opener vs. Temple to air live on CSS

Official game day headquarters party scheduled for Fanatics in Johnson City

 

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 10, 2008) - When the ETSU men's basketball team opens its 2008-09 season Friday afternoon against Temple in the Charleston Classic, Buccaneer fans across the Southeast will be able to watch.

 

The game, scheduled to tip off at 3 p.m., will air live on CSS (Comcast Sports Southeast). In fact, CSS is scheduled to carry six games during the tournament, three in the first round, the two winner's bracket semifinal games on Saturday and the championship on Sunday.

 

For fans in Johnson City that would like to watch the game with their fellow Buccaneers, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host a special game day party at Fanatics Sports Restaurant located inside the Doubletree Hotel in Johnson City. The game will be shown on the big screen inside Fanatics, and there will be special giveaways and promotions from the ETSU athletic department.
