Wednesday, March 18, 2009

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 18, 2009) -- The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced several plans for alumni and fan gatherings later this week as both the Buccaneers men's and women's basketball teams begin NCAA Tournament play.

On Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown in Dayton, Ohio, the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association will host a pretournament gathering for alumni and fans who are attending the men's first round matchup with Pittsburgh. The team will make an appearance at the gathering.

In addition, Fanatics Restaurant inside the Doubletree Hotel in Johnson City will serve as the official "watch party" destination for Buccaneer supporters that are unable to make the trip to Dayton for the men's game on Friday, or the trip to Bowling Green, Ky., for the women's game on Sunday. Come join the fun and cheer the Bucs to victory in the NCAAs.
