JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 26, 2007) - The Atlantic Sun Conference has announced that sophomore Jordan Monty (Mesquite, Texas), was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team following the postseason tournament.

 

            With the selection Monty became the first Bucs to be named to an All-Tournament Team in the program's history. Monty, had a goal and an assist in the 2-1 win over Stetson in the first round of the A-Sun Tournament. The the first ever A-Sun Tournament victory propelled the Bucs to their first A-Sun semifinal match. Monty led the Bucs in points, and her 11 goals this season were tied for the team lead with outstanding freshman Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.).  Monty is tied for second on both he ETSU single season goal list and points list.

 

            The Texas native was also named to the A-Sun All-Conference Second Team for the second time this season. Since becoming a Buc, Monty has also been named to the A-Sun All-Freshman team and A-Sun Freshman of the Year.
