Solid effort puts Lady Bucs in contention

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2007) - Powered by a trio of mid-70 scores, the ETSU women's golf team finds itself in contention following Monday's first round action in the Aztec Fall Classic hosted by San Diego State at the Salt Creek Golf Course. Final round action in the tournament will be played Tuesday.
Led by a 2-over-par 74 from sophomore Sinead O'Sullivan (Galway, Ireland), a 3-over 75 from junior Lucy Gould (Bargoed, Wales) and a 4-over 76 from senior Natalia Giraldo (Cali, Colombia), the Bucs - who finished the day at 302 as a team - currently hold sole possession of third place on the team leaderboard.
