WINDERMERE, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2007) - Posting his second straight round of even-par 72, ETSU freshman Rhys Enoch (Cornwall, England) finished in the Top 5 for the second straight tournament with a score of 4-under-par 212 Tuesday in the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club.

With rounds of 68-72-72, Enoch posted his third finish of seventh or better in his first four collegiate events. He ended the tournament seven strokes off the pace of individual champion Harris English of Georgia, who fired rounds of 67 and 66 on the final two days to run away from the field. As a team, the Buccaneers finished tied for 10th after posting a solid effort of 4-over 292, while Georgia sprinted to the team title by firing back-to-back rounds of 13-under 275 to outlast Clemson by a remarkable 21 shots. This was ETSU's last event of the fall season.

Enoch said he has been happy with his early successes at the collegiate level.

"I'm pretty pleased with my fall," said Enoch, who also has a fifth place finish in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at the Ridges and a seventh place showing in the Carpet Capital Collegiate. "I would have liked to have finished higher or won one of those three events, but Top 10s are nice. I'm learning just how deep the talent is here at every tournament. There are so many good players and if you don't play well you can easily finish 30th or 40th."

ETSU head coach Fred Warren said he was glad to see his team bounce back in the final round after struggling in Monday's second round.

"The guys played well today and Rhys had another good finish," Warren said. "A Top 5 individually in this field is impressive. I think we finished the fall on a good note because we really had a solid round today. We could have played better and we have some work to do over the winter, but I saw a lot of good during the fall."

While Enoch posted the team's best finish, ETSU's low round of the day came from senior Gareth Shaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland), who finished at 2-under-par 70 and ended the event tied for 48th along with teammate Seamus Power (Waterford, Ireland).
