RICHMOND, Ky. (Dec. 29, 2006) - Coming off a much needed win before the holiday break against Radford, the ETSU women's basketball will look to finish the 2006 portion of its schedule with back-to-back wins as they visit Eastern Kentucky Saturday evening. Tip is set for 7 p.m. inside McBrayer Arena.  

With a win Saturday night, the Lady Bucs will get back to the .500 mark for the second time this season, and make it five wins in their last seven contests. In order to make it a successful trip, ETSU will have to do something they have never done before, which is beat the Lady Colonels on their home floor. The Lady Bucs are winless in Richmond (0-3), and are only 2-8 lifetime against the Lady Colonels. Last season ETSU knocked off the Eastern Kentucky, 81-74, in Memorial Center, as Brooke Wilhoit (Sevierville, Tenn.) was one of three players to reach double figures. Jenny Norman (Peachtree, Ga.) also gave the Lady Bucs a lift with nine points, seven rebounds and two block shots in the winning effort.
