JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 3, 2007) - After opening conference play with road wins at Mercer and Stetson, the ETSU women's basketball team will look to keep its perfect record in tact Thursday when they host Lipscomb at 4:45 inside Memorial Center. The Lady Bucs have won five of their last seven games, and look to get above the .500 mark for the first time this season.

Since joining the A-Sun, ETSU has had plenty of success by posting a 16-6 (.727) record in its first 22 conference games, and have a 21-8 (.724) mark against active conference foes. Lipscomb is one of five Atlantic Sun teams the Lady Bucs have a perfect record against, as they swept the season series in 2005-06. In the two contests last season, ETSU forced Lipscomb to commit 62 total turnovers, while junior Michele DeVault (Columbus, Ohio) averaged 14.0 points and 5.5 rebounds against the Bisons.
