JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (September 5, 2006) - Off to a 4-2 start for the second consecutive season, the ETSU Volleyball squad will open its 2006 home schedule entertaining three schools in the Lady Bucs Volleyball Classic presented by Best Western September 8-9.  Six total matches dot the tournament slate, with the Lady Bus participating in three of them. 

 

The tournament kicks off with Winthrop and Evansville meeting at 4:30 Friday afternoon.  Furman and the homestanding Lady Bucs will close out the first day of competition with a 6:30 match.

 

Play begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, as Winthrop and Furman open up the day's competition.  ETSU ensues with a 12:30 match against Evansville, followed by Furman and Evansville taking the floor at 3:30.  The tournament culminates with the Lady Bucs taking on five-time defending Big South Conference champion Winthrop at 5:30.

 

All matches take place in Brooks Gym, and admission is free throughout the weekend.
