Bucs tennis cruises past North Florida, 7-0
Ahlgren Sunday, February 25, 2007 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (February 25, 2007) - The No. 42 ETSU men's tennis team earned their third straight win against an Atlantic Sun conference team this season defeating North Florida 7-0. The Bucs improve to 9-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while the Ospreys fall to 4-6, 3-1. The Bucs took the early lead as they swept all three doubles matches. Travis Sandlant ( Leading the Bucs in the No. 1 singles position, Predrag Burmazovic ( "We played extremely solid today. Everybody played to their potential," said head coach Yaser Zaatini. "There was a lot of intensity in the way everyone played and you could really see the respect for the other team. They fought hard and everyone wanted to win their spot. It was just a solid effort overall." The Bucs will travel to San Antonio, Texas where they will face the San Francisco Dons on March 4 at noon and the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners on March 5 at 2 p.m. For all ETSU men's tennis action visit www.etsubucs.com.
