Marines to collect Christmas gifts for Toys For Tots campaign

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 7, 2006) - As part of Saturday's ETSU men's basketball game with Milligan, the Buccaneers will honor the United States Armed Services with a special "Military Night" program and promotion. Tip for the game is set for 4 p.m., with pregame and halftime festitivies scheduled to honor those who have served in the military.

Special discounted tickets for "military personnel" will be made available for only $7. Fans wishing to purchase these special tickets will need their military ID. In addition, members of each branch of the military will be present for the National Anthem, while a special brass band will perform each branch's anthem during a special halftime ceremony.

Also, Elizabethton native and wounded Marine veteran Nathan Morrow will serve as honorary coach on the ETSU bench, and his fellow Marine's will be collecting toys as fans enter the gate as part of their traditional "Toys for Tots" campaign. Any fan bringing a toy for the Marines will also be able to purchase a $7 discounted ticket.
