(February 25, 2006) - Junior C.J. Lee (Bristol, Va.) went 5-for-5 from the plate, drove in six runs and scored twice, including the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as the ETSU baseball squad rallied for a 13-11 win, completing a three-game sweep of visiting Youngstown State from Cardinal Park Saturday afternoon.  The Bucs improve to 7-5 with the win, while Youngstown State falls to 0-3.

The action was back-and forth throughout the contest that featured four lead changes, 32 combined hits and 10 total pitchers.

Trailing 3-2 in the third, the Bucs took their first lead on Lee's RBI double to centerfield, scoring senior Blake Church (Roswell, Ga.) and junior Stephen Douglas (Kennesaw, Ga.).  Senior Josiah Glafenhein (Knoxville, Tenn.) extended the lead to two, scoring Lee with an RBI single.

After the Penguins tied the game in the fourth, senior Chuck Hargis (Powell, Tenn.) put the Bucs back on top with his first homer of the season; a solo shot to right center.

Leading 7-6 in the seventh, ETSU surrendered five runs as the Penguins pounded out five hits off two Buccaneer pitchers to claim the four-run advantage.

The Bucs pushed a run across in the bottom frame, and senior Steven Calicutt (Spartanburg, S.C.) retired the Penguins in order in the eighth.  Trailing by three, Church reached on a one-out triple, and senior Matt Traylor (Knoxville, Tenn.) singled him home following a Douglas walk.  With runners at the first two, Lee delivered his fifth hit of the day, a bases-clearing, two-RBI to left to tie the game at 11.  Lee scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch from Penguin reliever Kevin Libeg.

Calicutt picked up his first win of the season in relief, pitching two innings of shutout ball.  Libeg took the loss, falling to 0-1.

The Bucs are back in action with a three-game series against St. John's March 3-5 from Cardinal Park.  Game one is Friday at 1 p.m.
