JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (September 7, 2005) - Recently, the ETSU women's soccer team did its part to reach out to the community through an annual Park and Recreation clinic for local children ages 5-12.

"We feel it is a great event and time for ETSU Soccer to give back to the community kids," said head women's soccer coach Heather Henson.  "The ladies of ETSU Soccer really enjoy spending time with the kids who come out. We have made lifelong friends with some of the kids who come out year after year."

Throughout this fall and next spring the women's soccer team will be doing more of these mini clinics. No dates are set yet, but those interested in participating in a future clinic should keep watching the local media for more information.

"We have not set any other dates as of yet, due to our busy travel game schedule this fall, but keep an eye out," Henson said.
