JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 13, 2006) - Head coach Karen Kemp has announced the signing of TaRonda Wiles, a shooting guard from Danville, Va.  Wiles is the fifth addition to the Lady Bucs' 2006-07 roster.

"TaRonda is a very gifted athlete that will bring size and athleticism to our small forward position," said coach Kemp.  "She has great range from the 3-point line and she also has the ability to put the ball on the floor and pull up for the mid-range jumper.  Our program has not had a player with those skills since the graduation of Kiya Verdell."

Wiles was a standout player at Dan River High School, earning All-State first team honors on two occasions.  Wiles was also a 2005 All America selection while playing with the Piedmont Pride AAU club.

"TaRonda is a great all-around person," continued Kemp.  "She will be a great addition to our program both on the court and in the classroom."

Wiles joins a quartet of future Lady Bucs from the fall signing period, making up the class of 2010.  Wiles, along with Devin Thompson, Brianna McClelland, Latisha Belcher, and Siarre Evans, will begin their ETSU careers this fall.
