ETSU to host tennis tournament this weekend

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (September 14, 2005) - The ETSU women's tennis team is hosting an open tennis tournament for both men and women on Friday- Saturday, Sept. 16-17.  Matches will be held at the ETSU tennis complex, the Liberty Bell Tennis Complex, and on the indoor courts at Memorial Center.  Matches begin at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, and conclude Saturday at 5:00 p.m. 

 

Teams will compete in singles and doubles competitions with each player guaranteed at least two matches.  A total of ten schools will be participating in the tournament including Western Carolina University, Milligan College, Lees McRae College, Virginia Intermont College, Radford University, Mars Hill College, Tusculum College, Carson Newman, and Cumberland University.

 

Results will be available at the conclusion of play on both Friday and Saturday at www.etsubucs.com.
