MACON, Ga. (April 11, 2006) - The ETSU men's tennis team will look to win their third-straight conference championship and their first-ever A-Sun conference championship this week at the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center on the campus of Mercer University.

The 2006 A-Sun Tournament will mark the first postseason appearance for the Bucs as members of the Atlantic Sun. Having earned a bye in the first round, the Bucs will face the winner of #8 Florida Atlantic/ #9 Jacksonville on Thursday, April 13 at 9 a.m. ETSU has already faced both teams earlier in the year defeating Jacksonville, 7-0 on March 7 and Florida Atlantic, 5-0 on March 9. Should ETSU advance to the semi-finals they will take on either # 4 Belmont or #5 Campbell. ETSU defeated Campbell, 6-1 on March 3 and Belmont, 6-1 on March 18.

The Bucs (18-6, 8-0), enter the tournament undefeated in regular season conference play.

The championship match is set for Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m.
