JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 2, 2006) - The Atlantic-Sun Conference announced the 2006 Men's All-Conference teams this afternoon. The coaches have also selected the Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year Awards.

In ETSU's first season in the Atlantic-Sun conference, Enrique Olivares (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) was named Freshman of the Year after compiling a 27-8 overall record and a 9-1 conference record.

Four members of ETSU's line-up also received accolades as All-Conference Selections. Senior Felix Insaurralde (Asunción, Paraguay) was a unanimous selection for the First-Team. Oscar Posada (Valencia, Venezuela), and Enrique Olivares were also named as First-Team A-Sun selections. Freshman Juan Crosa was the lone Second Team A-Sun selection. Crosa and Olivares were both named to the All-Freshman team.
