Complimentary A-Sun tickets available to ETSU students

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 21, 2006) - The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics - in conjunction with the university's Student Government Association and local Subway Restaurants - are making every effort to insure ETSU students have an opportunity to attend the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Championships March 2-4 inside Memorial Center.

 

There are three ways for students to receive complimentary tickets to the event, and they include:

 

1.                          Buc Wild Sponsored Tickets: Students that are members of Buc Wild can receive their free ticket by coming to the Pirate Club offices inside Memorial Center and simply picking up a ticket.

 

2.                          SGA Sponsored Tickets: The Student Government Association has purchased a limited allotment of tickets that will be made available beginning Monday, Feb. 27. Tickets will be distributed on the bottom level of the D.P. Culp Center at Ticket Booth C near the Post Office. Tickets will be available Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With an ETSU win in Thursday's first round, students will be allowed to pick up an additional ticket for Friday night's game during the same 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. time frame on Friday.

 

3.                          Subway Sponsored Tickets: Students that make a purchase at any of the four Subway locations listed below can bring the signed receipt to the ETSU ticket office or the outside ticket booths at Memorial Center the day of the game to receive a free student ticket. Students must purchase at least a six-inch sub to get the free ticket. Remember, the receipt must be signed by a Subway employee:

 

Participating stores include:

         811 W. Walnut Street (store located by campus)

         1202 W. Market Street (store located in gas station beside Bank of Amercia)

         512 W. Oakland Street (beside Hollywood Movies by Walmart)

         2122 N. Roan Street (store located in the Mall)
