ETSU men's golf moves to second at GCAA Hall of Fame

HUMBLE, Texas (March 18, 2006) - The 11th-ranked ETSU men's golf team maintained its second place position during Saturday's second round play at the GCAA Hall of Fame Invitational at the Redstone Tournament Course. Third and final round play will conclude on Sunday.

 

ETSU was led by sophomore Cian McNamara (Limerick, Ireland), who finished the day at 2-over and is currently in sixth place. The Bucs posted an overall score of 593 and is currently seven strokes back of leader Oklahoma State.

 

Along with McNamara, junior Rhys Davies (Bridgend, Wales) and sophomore Gareth Shaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland) are tied for 9th at 4-over, while freshman Adam Hodkinson (Dore, England) is tied for 24th and freshman Jordan Findlay (Fraserburgh, Scotland) is tied for 83rd.
