"Inside Buc Sports" television and radio shows debut Thursday night

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 5, 2005) - The Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network will begin its third season of broadcasts Thursday night with the airing of both its Inside Buc Sports radio and television shows.

 

On the radio, WJCW-AM (910) will once again act as the flagship station for the network, and the first edition of Inside Buc Sports will begin at 6 p.m. inside the Firehouse Restaurant located on West Walnut Street in Johnson City. Scheduled to be on the show along with the "Voice of the Bucs" Jay Sandos will be head volleyball coach Lindsey Devine, head men's basketball coach Murry Bartow and ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins.

 

On television, the first episode of Inside Buc Sports will air on Charter Main Street's Channel 13 and Comcast Cable Channel 14 Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. The show will also air nationally on Fox College Sports Atlantic Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., reaching into over 40 million homes nationwide. Hosts Scott Lawson and Sunny Ricker will take viewers around the entire ETSU athletic department with news reports, player profiles and other special features.
