MSHA Buccaneer Sports Network, Charter Main Street announce expanded television coverage for ETSU athletics

Thursday, October 06, 2005

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 6, 2005) - The Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network and Charter Main Street have once again partnered to expand the television coverage for ETSU's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics during the 2005-2006 season.

For the third straight year, Charter Main Street's Channel 13 and Comcast Channel 14 will be the home of Inside Buc Sports, ETSU athletics' weekly television show. In addition, Charter Main Street - which broadcast Buccaneer men's basketball games on a tape-delayed basis last year - will expand their television replay coverage to include women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, baseball and softball.

"We're extremely excited about the relationship we have developed with Charter Main Street," said Jay Sandos, the ‘Voice of the Bucs' and Director of the MSHA Buccaneer Sports Network.  "We're proud that through this partnership, we are able to expand our television coverage to other sports."

Inside Buc Sports can be seen Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m. on both Charter Channel 13 and Comcast Channel 14 beginning October 6 and running weekly until April 11.

The game replays will premier on Wednesday evenings, with the air time still to be determined. The first game replay will air on Oct. 12 when the ETSU volleyball team takes on Western Carolina in Atlantic Sun Conference play. A complete schedule of game replays can be found below.
