The heat is on as Posada wins in day one of qualifiers at Icy/Hot ITA All American Tournament

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 4, 2004) - Sophomore Oscar Posada (Valencia, Venezuela) advanced to the second round in the qualifiers of the ICY/HOT ITA All American Tournament Monday morning in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The ranked Posada defeated Roger Gubser of Texas by a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 to advance. He will now face Paul Rose of Purdue in the round of 64. Match time is set for Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
The Icy/Hot ITA All American Tournament is the first of three national championships for singles and doubles during the 2004-05 season. It is hosted by the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from Oct. 1-10 for the men.
