Bucs need win as they prepare for Appalachian State

Friday, January 28, 2005

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 29, 2005) -- Coming off a tough, one-point loss to the Southern Conference's only undefeated team earlier this week, the East Tennessee State University men's basketball team begins the final stretch run of the season Saturday against Appalachian State. Tip is set for 4 p.m. at Memorial Center.

The Buccaneers fell 63-62 to Davidson earlier in the week, but were encouraged by the effort on the Wildcats' home floor. ETSU has lost five games this season by a total of 14 points and is hoping to turn its luck around with eight games remaining before the SoCon Tournament in Chattanooga.
