Free concert highlights "Faith and Family Night"

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. (Dec. 9, 2004) - The East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the ETSU Student Government Association are pleased to present a free post-game concert featuring "Building 429" following Friday's men's basketball game with Tennessee Tech.

 

As part of Faith and Family Night, the Buccaneers will take on Tennessee Tech beginning at 7 p.m., and the concert will follow 15 minutes after the game. Sponsors for the concert include WCQR-FM 88.3, Murphy Financial Services and the Firehouse Restaurant.

 

"We're trying to offer our fans something extra at ETSU games this year, whether it's a Kid's Zone with the inflatable amusement rides or this free post-game concert," said ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins. "Our goal is to make ETSU basketball games an event for the entire family and for everyone in our community."

 

The Buccaneers are coming off back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament and are again picked to win the Southern Conference North Division for a fifth-straight year.
