JOHNSON CITY, TENN. (June 2, 2005) - The East Tennessee State volleyball office has announced the signing of three recruits to national letters of intent to compete for the Lady Bucs beginning in the upcoming fall season. Sarah Buhr (Stockton, Ca.), Crystal Palmer (Chico, Ca.) and Jennifer Emerson (Tracy, Ca.) will join the 2005 squad according to head coach Lindsey Devine ....

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. (Feb. 2, 2005) - The East Tennessee State volleyball squad will host its annual summer camps to be held on the ETSU campus in the summer of 2005. Three sessions will be held, including a team camp, a setter/hitter day camp and a new all skills camp. JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 17, 2004) - The ETSU volleyball squad has played their final match of the 2004 season finishing with an overall record of 7-22, including a 5-11 record competing in their final Southern Conference season. Under the direction of second-year head coach Lindsey Devine , the Lady Bucs volleyball squad had many ups and down throughout the year, however taking the final two games of the season against UNC-Greensboro and Elon, ETSU plans to use that positive momentum to propel them into off season training and the 2005 season ahead....

(Nov. 13, 2004) - In front of a crowd today for Senior Day festivities in Brooks Gymnasium, a 32 dig effort from senior libero Karen Freeburg (New Castle, Ind.) helped lead the Lady Bucs volleyball squad to defeat Elon 3-1 (30-25, 30-15, 24-30, 30-26) in Southern Conference action. (Nov. 12, 2004) - In a match lasting just over an hour, the Lady Bucs swept the UNC-Greensboro Spartans tonight in Brooks Gymnasium (30-27, 30-23, 30-16) to win their fourth Southern Conference match of the season. With the loss, UNCG falls to 3-30, 0-15 in SoCon play in 2004, while ETSU improves to 6-22, 4-11 in conference action. (Oct. 24, 2004) - After falling in the first two games of the match the Lady Bucs volleyball squad battled the Wofford Terriers today to a five-game bout losing 16-18 in the deciding fifth game. The Terrier volleyball squad fought through adversity and held on for a 3-2 victory Sunday afternoon versus East Tennessee State in the Benjamin Johnson Arena. (Sept. 11, 2004) - In just her second full weekend of collegiate competition, freshman middle blocker Callie Kiselich (Colorado Springs, Co.) was voted to the Nike/Comfort Suites Classic All-Tournament Team late Saturday afternoon. The team consisted of players from all schools participating in weekend competition including Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, Evansville and ETSU. (Sept. 7, 2004) - The Lady Bucs volleyball squad traveled across western North Carolina to face the NC State Wolfpack in non-conference action today where ETSU fell 0-3 (22-30, 20-30, 27-30). (Sep. 4, 2004) - The East Tennessee State volleyball squad suffered a 3-0 (30-22, 30-16, 30-22) setback at the hands of the Iowa State Cyclones this morning in the second of three matches for the Bucs at the Mizuno/Auburn Challenge. Auburn, Ala. (Sep. 3, 2004) - The East Tennessee State volleyball squad opened their season this evening against SEC powerhouse Auburn at the Mizuno/Auburn challenge with a 3-0 loss at the hands of the Tigers. AU freshman Whitney Jacob put a kill down the line off of a pass from classmate Jordan Elliott to get the season started and then also hammered home the final kill in game three.
