Online football auction set for Feb. 5

To Whom it May Concern: As a result of the decision to discontinue the football program at East Tennessee State University, surplus equipment and apparel will be sold through public auction to interested individuals and institutions in accordance with the State of Tennessee, NCAA, and institutional policies. Beginning February 5, 2004, the online auction can be accessed at the ETSU surplus property public auction web site (http://www.etsu.edu/centralreceiving/auction.htm). The auction will continue through March 5, 2004, or until all items have been sold. Items to be sold will include jerseys, game and practice pants, practice gear, used and new grass and turf shoes, helmet accessories, shoulder pads and accessories, assorted pads, field equipment, and coach's communication equipment.
