ETSU Cross Country Competes at NCAA South Regional

AUBURN, Ala. (Nov. 15, 2003) - The East Tennessee State men's cross country team finished 14th at the NCAA South Regional held at Idian Pines Golf Course in Auburn, Ala. The Buccaneers were led by junior Bradley Yewer (Newbury, England), who finished with a time of 31:22 for 32nd place. Senior David Haefner (Hamburg, N.Y.) had a strong race and finished second for the Bucs with a time of 32:01 in the 10k race. The Bucs now await the November 17 selection date in which at large teams will be added in addition to those teams and individuals who qualified at today's regional meets.
